Hi everyone, I enjoy coarse fishing and sea fishing. Although after an operation to rebuild the ACL in my knee I find sea fishing almost impossible to do with the walking and uneven ground etc. I enjoy coarse fishing and go a few times a week around Swansea and the surrounding area.

I also make fishing traces to sell as a hobbie. Shore rigs and boat rigs, if anyone is interested let me know :-) Shore rigs are £1.40 each or 6 for £7.50 and boat rigs are £1.70 each or 6 for £9!!

    Toni im looking for some info lads if any of u can help.. do any 1 know whitch way pole sections run ive lost a section of mine last nite whitch rolled of my roller time i got up to get it the section had sunck in about 10ft of water... thanks lads...toni

      GoCarp Hi there, I found a decent website for you to have a look at about pole fishing. All i can say as i dont do much pole fishing is feed little and often. Feeding is probably the most important thing!

      WeedCamo I love pole fishing , If you beef up your elastic and line you can use a pole to fish for carp on the surface, its mad when they take the bait and zoom off but it really works and I have had carp to 15lb using the method, ;)

      argonought try using a small method feeder with 8mm robin red or halibut pellet works a treat just hold on to your pole as the takes can be quite aggressive,i used to use no16 elastic when i was pole fishing had carp up to 10lb 3oz ;}

      Toni thanks lads i will give it a go .. as the wife got me 12.5m pole for my birthday so it should b fun trying it out then... im not sure what elastic cums with it but i know its go a match ktop 3 kit and 3 top 2 power kits with it so i going to take to my local tackle shop and get them all done then so i know whats what on them :))
